A short talk & display on the life and equipment used by the girls of the Timber Corp.
Enter our 'Best Dressed 2012' Competition
Naomi Thompson, author of 'Style Me Vintage' will be one of our judges this year so make sure you find your best outfit.
The competition will be held in the Fashion Show area at 3.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday and is limited to 50 places so be sure to sign up in Nostalgia Hall when you arrive.
Fun Films Vintage Cinema Showcase
presented by Visual Thinktank
This is an opportunity for Film Fun to showcase their collection of quirky news items, public information films and 8mm home movies there amazing treasures add great visual context and fill you with national pride.
Mid-Century Textile Exhibition
The Retropattern collection contains interesting pieces of design mainly from the 1950's & 1960's. Items are usually by named designers but this won't preclude interesting finds which are indicative of the era. You may even be able to help us identify them
Vintage Styling Advice

Naomi Thompson is a stylist and personal shopper specialising in Vintage Fashion and Author of recently launched "Style Me Vintage" Naomi will be giving talks and holding Q&A's and Mini Tours of Vintage Shopping on boths days.
Naomi's talks will be at 12pm and 3pm on both days.

Dance
Dance is an important part of the weekend.
Enjoy learning various dances as part of your ticket including....
1940s jive, triple time lindy hop,lindy charleston, shim sham,jitterbug stroll, balboa & collegiate shag. Whether you are a beginner or experienced dancer there will be new moves to learn. All dance activities are included in the ticket price.
GI Jive to be offering Lession in the Nostalgia Hall Stand throughout Saturday & Sunday.
GI Jive have been teaching for almost 18 years and have taught throughout the UK, France, Belgium, Spain and America.
The Back Step Boogie will be back for 2012 offering lesson in the Knavesmire stand on both days of the event
